Believe it or not, that was the original proposed motto for the Seal of the United States of America. That's how strongly our Founding Fathers felt about disobeying unjust authority! And to be honest, it's an attitude that has served us well—from helping us win the revolution, to fueling the civil rights movement and beyond. In the end "E Pluribus Unum" won out as our country's motto... and while we completely appreciate the sentiment, we can't forget our unruly roots and our civic duty to disobey tyranny everywhere.
